We LOVE presents, especially when they are something that we can use for our adventures. But we understand that it is not that easy buying cool and useful gifts for the people you know that love the outdoors. Therefore, we put together a list of some gift ideas for all the adventurers in your life. We personally use and love the gear. We’re hoping that they will be able to put these gifts to good use and go out there to create the memories that will cherish for years to come.

1. Teton Tent Cot for 1 or 2 People
We love this Teton tent cot! Since we started camping, we wanted to find a tent that is off the ground, but still roomy enough for both of us. This one fits the bill. There’s enough room to move around inside, and you can avoid the cold air and all the creepy crawlies on the ground. A few things to note, the cot is sold separately. When buying this tent, you have the option of one or two people. If you’re buying the two-person one, make sure to buy TWO cots.
2. Hikenture Camping Pad
This one is more for adventure couples. It is so hard to find a decent 2-person sleeping pad that is big and tall at a decent price! We’ve been pretty happy with our find. It is thick enough for a comfy night, without being bulky. Make sure to order the LARGE though. They also sell single-size sleeping pads, if you prefer a smaller size.
3. Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set
This little pot is perfect for quick boiling water or warming soup. It is pretty compact too. There are two stackable cups inside this stainless steel pot. It is one of my favorite camping gear.
4. Cleanwaste GO Anywhere Portable Toilet Seat
Not the prettiest of presents but this one is very practical (and kinda funny, if you’re into that kind of gift). This portable toilet here is not only good for camping, but also on long road trips. It is so hard to find a restroom sometimes, especially now during COVID-19. This portable toilet supports up to 500 lbs. It is easy to use and super functional. The unit itself is stable, self-contained, and does not smell.
5. Jetboil Flash Cooking System
This is a MUST-HAVE if your adventurers love camping! The Jetboil is light, easy to pack and boils water super fast. The metal at the bottom/around the flames does not stay hot so it reduced the risk of being burned accidentally. And this Jetboil is interchangeable with other brands of fuel.
6. Patagonia Capilene Midweight
This wicking base layer is part of our everyday 3 season apparel. They are so comfortable. They keep me super warm, yet since the fabric is breathable, you don’t get overheated while being active. They can be wear as is or as a base layer for colder days. Check out the men’s and women’s versions.
7. Patagonia Houdini Jacket
We have this jacket for years now and we still love it! It is super convenient because you can pack it into a tiny little ball that weighs nothing. We carry our jackets with us through most of our hikes. It doesn’t look that warm, but what it does is it will trap your body heat inside. So as you’re being active, you will get warmer. 8. Micro Puff Jacket
Similar concept to the Houdini Jacket above, but this one is a lot warmer. However, you can still pack it up super small, which makes it really nice for packing. Check out the men version here, and the women version here.
9. Drybags
You can never have enough dry bags! They are very useful if your adventurers love water sports such as kayaking, paddleboarding, jetski, etc. It will keep every dry! They are also perfect for storing and hanging food when backpacking overnight as well as general traveling. These dry bags make perfect gift ideas for adventurers that love water sports. We found the 20 Liters bags are perfect to stow under a kayak. If you prefer more space, then get the 35 Liters. Don’t forget the 4 Liters ones. They are the perfect size to store personal items such as phones, keys, chapstick, gums, etc.
10. JBL Charge 4 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker
Not only it has all the cute colors, but this waterproof Bluetooth speaker is also perfect for a day of paddling out on the water or just a day at the beach. It gives out pretty good sound too!
11. JBL CLIP 3 – Waterproof Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Yes, we know it’s another waterproof speaker, but Vy LOVES this one. It is compact enough that we can bring it on our hike if we want a little tune on the trail or stow it easily on a paddleboard, which has less space than a kayak.
12. Hammock
No adventure is complete without a hammock. Think about a perfect afternoon under the shades of the tree, looking out on the water. This ENO hammock is sturdy, affordable and comes in fun colors. It is also compact and light.
13. Portable Car Jump Starter
This one saves our butts a few times. Dustin left the drone battery on the charger in our Jeep through the night and it drains all of our battery. We were in the middle of nowhere. Lucky for us, we had this little guy with us. This car jump starter got us home that day. It holds a lot of power and keeps it for a long time too. You can also use it to charge your phone, camera, tablet. And it has a built-in LED light. Talk about superpower! This gadget right here is one of the best gift ideas you can give to not only adventurers like us, but anyone can have a car really.
14. Portable Solar Charger
We have about 5 of these solar chargers. Not only we use them on our trips, but Dustin uses them when he goes out on his shoots. They hold a lot of charges and last a long time. You can either charge this using solar power or plug it in. It is also water-resistant and has a built-in LED light. Super cool!
15. LifeStraw Go Water Filter Bottles
This water bottle is perfect if you’re traveling where the water source is questionable. It is perfect for those who are environmentally conscious. This water bottle. has a built-in filtration system that filters water as it flows through the straw. So if you don’t want to put more waste on the planet by buying plastic bottles, but you still want to be safe drinking water, this is it!
16. GoPro Hero 9
Every adventurer will love this! This newest GoPro has hyper-smooth in 4K with a higher frame rate. This means your video will be smooth as butter. It also has a front screen for Vbloggers or anyone that loves taking a selfie. Besides GoPro 9, this package here also comes with 3 batteries, a dual charger, an SD card, and a cleaning kit. 17. GoPro Navy Mount
This mount here can go onto anything from handlebars, ski poles, bike handles, and more. It is solid and well-built, so you can take your GoPro on the most adrenaline-filled rides.
18. SANDMARC Pole – Metal Edition
What we love about this GoPro pole is that it is of better quality than the original GoPro tripod stick. It makes from aluminum and super durable. It extends from 15″ to 50″. This SandMarc pole is waterproof and salt proof as well. It is perfect for the ocean.
19. SANDMARC Pole – Compact Edition
We love SandMarc! Not only do they have quality gear, but their customer service is also top-notch. So yes, another GoPro pole. This one goes from 10″ to 25″. It is more compact than the one above. However, it is also very durable than it looks. It is convenient when short, but not too bulky when extended, allow great stability underwater for some close up of some amazing sea life. This pole can also easily taken apart for cleaning.
20. Petzl Actik Core Headlamp
Last but not least, a headlamp is one of the must gift ideas for adventurers. Every adventurer loves a headlamp. This thing is so useful. You can use it for camping, through a power outage, or working under a car. Petzl headlamp is 450 lumens so it gets very bright. You can charge it with the USB rechargeable battery, but it is also compatible with 3 AAA batteries, without an adapter. It’s great if you’re somewhere without a plugin power, you can always use the AAA battery.
